Russell Crowe toont middelvinger aan Kiwi anti`s

Acteur en muzikant Russell Crowe heeft in een Nieuw Zeeland’s casino laten merken dat hij lak heeft aan de Smokefree Environment Act, een wet waarin roken verboden wordt in publieke gelegenheden zoals de werkplek, bars en restaurants en casino’s.


Tijdens een optreden in een van die casino’s rookte hij tussen de nummers door ‘on stage’ en zelfs tijdens het zingen. We hoeven niet te vermelden dat de Kiwi anti’s woest zijn….


De lijst met beroemdheden die zich tegen de anti-rokendictatuur verzetten wordt steeds langer. Nu nog even krachten bundelen, dames en heren…


MiddelvingerCrowe smoked cigarettes after each song and sometimes during songs, breaching the Smokefree Environment Act, which bans smoking in workplaces, bars, nightclubs and restaurants, the Herald on Sunday reported.

It quoted a “shocked” Becky Freeman, director of Action on Smoking and Health, as asking: “So he’s above the law because he’s a celebrity or something? Just because you’re Russell Crowe doesn’t mean you can do whatever you like.”
