‘Rookverbod Engeland pathetisch’

In een videotoespraak noemt FOREST-voorzitter Simon Clark het rookverbod dat daar in juli ingaat ‘pathetisch’. Maar liefst 30 miljoen pond wordt er per jaar uitgetrokken voor de handhaving van het rookverbod terwijl er nog zoveel andere misdaad in het land is waar men niet zoveel geld aan wil besteden.


In de video breekt Simon een lans voor de vrijheid van bareigenaren om zélf te bepalen of ze roken toestaan of niet, of dat ze faciliteiten als aparte rookruimtes en ventilatie willen inrichten.
