In oktober 68 rookboetes

DENHAAG – De Voedsel en Waren Autoriteit (VWA) heeft sinds 1 oktober 68 boetes uitgedeeld, vooral in cafés. De organisatie heeft dat dinsdag bekendgemaakt.

Van de 68 boetes werden er 48 in cafés uitgeschreven. De controleurs zijn sinds 1 oktober strenger. Als het rookverbod wordt overtreden, volgt meteen een proces-verbaal voor de eigenaar van de horecazaak.

Sinds het rookverbod deze zomer werd ingevoerd, zijn in totaal 90 bekeuringen uitgedeeld.
