Gered dankzij roken

Een vrouw in de Amerikaanse stad Rock Hill heeft haar leven te danken aan haar rookgewoonte. Net op het moment dat ze even buiten was gaan roken stortte er een boom op de keuken waar ze even te voren nog bezig was geweest…


“Mijn man heeft vaak commentaar op mijn rookverslaving, maar het heeft mijn leven gered“, aldus de vrouw.


De 25 meter hoge boom kwam terecht in haar keuken, waar de vrouw, kort voordat ze besloot een rookpauze in te lassen, stond af te wassen. De boom was omgevallen vanwege de harde wind.


Het huis is niet meer bewoonbaar, maar de Amerikaanse is blij dat ze nog leeft.
