  •   27-06-2004: Met het begin van de winterdienstregeling op 1 november mag op Air Berlin-vluchten niet meer worden gerookt.


  • 06-02-2004: Van het lijstje rookvriendelijke maatschappijen mag nu Sobelair geschrapt worden: ze zijn failliet. De maatschappijen vliegen nu met vervanging van transavia,ltu en condor. Zij weigeren pertinent roken toe te staan.Omdat het niet meer in hun imago past. Condor/ThomasCook Engeland België en Duitsland allen rookvrij. Air Europe charter uit italie Portugal en Spanje sedert 15 dec rookvrij.


  • Sinds 1 november 2003 is het niet meer toegestaan om te roken bij vliegmaatschappij Condor/Thomas Cook. Het geldt in ieder geval voor vluchten vanaf Brussel. Onduidelijk of het ook voor Duitsland geldt.

    Air Cubana vanaf Londen of Parijs: na protesten weer roken toegestaan in de laatste 10 rijen (alle vluchten)

     

    Condorair (Duitsland): Alle vluchten rookverbod dit geld ook voor alle thomascook vluchten ingegaan per 1 nov.2003.

     

    Mexicana and Aeromexica per 15 nov.alle vluchten rookverbod.

     

    Air Anatolia is failliet.

     

    Air Inter= Turkse charter, alle vluchten laatste 5 rijen roken toegestaan te boeken bij Pasatours en HTC reizen.

     

    MEA: Middle East Airlines, rookverbod per 1 nov 2003 alle vluchten.

     

    Philippine Airlines: rookverbod per 15 september 2003 alle vluchten.

     

    China Eastern Airlines laatste 30 stoelen roken zelfs via china naar australie roken.

  • Vietnam Airlines
    All Vietnam Airlines domestic and the following international short-haul flights are non-smoking from HANOI to BANGKOK, GUANGZHOU, HONG KONG, SEOUL, VIENTIANE, SINGAPORE and from HO CHI MINH CITY to BANGKOK, MANILA, PHNOM PENH, SINGAPORE, KUALA LUMPUR, HONG KONG and GUANGZHOU.
    Smoking is permitted on flights from HANOI and HO CHI MINH CITY to EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, TAIWAN; from HO CHI MINH CITY to SEOUL, KAOHSIUNG and OSAKA.

    Niet echt dure airline en prima prijs kwaliteits verhouding.
  • Nederland Air Holland
    Vluchten naar Fortaleza (Brazilië) rokersplaatsen op verzoek van de touroperater. Wanneer bij Air Holland het verzoek binnen komt van de huurder voor rokersplaatsen dan worden die vrijgegeven.
  • China Southern Airlines:
    heeft op trajecten naar en binnen China rokersplaatsen beschikbaar.
  • Air Gabon:
    van Londen naar Johannesburg: roken
  • PIA:
    (Pakistan Airlines) op vluchten van Londen naar New York

  • I've alllllllways said that asking smokers "do you want to quit?" and reporting the results of that question, as is, is horribly misleading. It's a TWO part question. After asking if one wants to quit it must be followed up with "Why?" Ask why and the majority of the answers will be "because I'm supposed to" (victims of guilt and propaganda), not "because I want to."
