Popster Joe Jackson gaat Forces versterken

Joe JacksonJoe Jackson (www.joejackson.com) sluit zich aan bij het Forces Comité van Aanbeveling. Bovendien stelt hij de opbrengsten van zijn nieuwste single “In 20-0-3” onder andere beschikbaar aan Forces.


Joe Jackson woonde tot voor kort in New York maar verhuisde naar zijn vaderland Engeland na de invoering van het horeca rookverbod daar. Op zijn website en in diverse kranten ging hij hevig te keer tegen het rookverbod in de stad die hij zo aanbidt.


De popster begon zijn carrière in de New Wave periode met nummers als Stepping out, Is she really going out with him en Look Sharp. Sinds die tijd heeft hij een groot aantal songs geproduceerd in diverse stijlen.


>In 20-O-3Met zijn nieuwste single “In 20-O-3” produceert hij een eerste song die bedoeld is om de anti-roken hetze frontaal aan te vallen. Door de single direct op de site van Joe Jackson te bestellen worden een drietal rokersorganisaties gesteund: NYCCLASH (Audrey Silk’s organisatie, die gelieerd is aan Forces en actief is in New York), het Engelse FOREST en, zoals gezegd, Forces International.
