Almost 4 years ago two women, unknown to one another, began a search on the internet hoping to find answers to a shared mystery. Both had taken the drug bupropion hydrochloride under the label Wellbutrin® or Zyban® and both had suffered similar and yet widely varied reactions to the drug. These two women were destined to come together in the hope for answers, in the hope of a cure. All that they and others have learned – and continue to learn – is included on this site.
Our research into the side effect profile of Zyban®/Wellbutrin®, began as most research does; we had a theory. (Actually we had a lot of theories.) In order to either count or discount these theories, we have relied on experts in various fields and upon the research results these experts have published. Published findings are considered to be of great importance in the medical field. We have read thousands of articles and abstracts of articles and most, if not all of them, have been provided for you here. This information is at the heart of our research and these articles have been vital in understanding why we had an adverse drug event from Zyban®/Wellbutrin® and what to do about these adverse reactions.
