Laatste vluchten nu ook rookvrij

De laatste luchtvaartmaatschappijen in de wereld schijnen nu ook onder de druk van de WHO en de VS te zijn bezweken en zijn rookvrij geworden.


Per 1 januari lieten diverse maatschappijen die nog roken toestonden weten dat vanaf het nieuwe jaar niet meer te zullen doen.


Hiermee is de onderdrukking van rokers in de luchtvaart compleet en markeert dit het einde voor verre, tropische zonvakanties……



  • Air India non smoking sinds 1-1-2005.
  • China Southern Airlines non smoking sinds 30-12-2004 ivm samenwerking China Airlines routes USA.
  • PIA non smoking sinds 1-1-2005.(moslimwet)
  • Srilanka Airlines non smoking op de route moskou-colombo was roken nog toegestaan.
  • Cubana Airlines per 1-2-2005 non smoking ivm rookverbod openbare ruimtes in cuba zelf.
  • TUI Belgium Airlines (charter)non smoking voorheen toegestaan op vluchten langer dan 3 uur.

Er is geen enkel maatschappij of charter airline die het roken nog toestaat op vluchten vanuit de Benelux, Frankrijk, GB, Duitsland, Oostenrijk of Zwitserland.


Misschien dat De Vlieger nog een Smoker Airlines wil opzetten?!
