FOREST start nieuwe website

De Engelse rokersorganisatie FOREST gaf per e-mail te kennen vanaf vandaag een nieuwe website te hebben gestart. De site kent verschillende nieuwe voorzieningen.

Dear All,

The UK smokers’ pressure group FOREST [Freedom Organisation for the Right to Enjoy Smoking Tobacco] is today launching a brand new website. FOREST Online (www.forestonline.org) includes news, advice and information plus an online magazine featuring interviews, comment and
reviews on a wide range of smoking-related subjects.

For journalists and broadcasters there is a Media Contact page, all our recent press releases, plus our response to key issues such as passive
smoking and smoking in public places. There are links to other smoking-related websites, answers to those Frequently Asked Questions, plus a Who’s Who of the smoking debate.

Visitors (especially journalists and broadcasters) are invited to subscribe to a FREE e-bulletin which will feature further information
about the smoking debate.

For further information about FOREST and/or the smoking debate call us on 07071 766537 or check out FOREST Online www.forestonline.org).

  • I've alllllllways said that asking smokers "do you want to quit?" and reporting the results of that question, as is, is horribly misleading. It's a TWO part question. After asking if one wants to quit it must be followed up with "Why?" Ask why and the majority of the answers will be "because I'm supposed to" (victims of guilt and propaganda), not "because I want to."
