Engelsen willen geen rookverboden in openbare leven

Uit een onderzoek uitgevoerd door de Engelse Metro onder 3600 lezers blijkt dat slechts 6% van de Engelsen roken uit het openbare leven zou willen verbannen. Meer dan tweederde van de niet-rokers en 96% van de rokers willen geen aanpak van het roken.



‘Only one in ten thought it should be banned in pubs – and just eight per cent said it should be outlawed in nightclubs. But 29 per cent favoured a ban in restaurants, including 18 per cent of smokers and 35 per cent of non-smokers.


‘Those taking part [in the survey] are professionals aged 18 to 44 in full-time work in one of our major cities.’
