Eerste café sluit de poorten

Café Loes in Amsterdam sluit al na één maand rookverbod de deuren.

De inkomsten daalden sinds er binnen niet meer gerookt mocht worden met 30 procent.

Het café aan de Jan Pieter Heijestraat zegt tegenover de Amsterdamse zender AT5 dat na 12,5 jaar het rookverbod de spreekwoordelijke druppel was. De buurtkroeg had al langer moeite het hoofd boven water te houden.
