Rookverbod-discussies woeden volop bij Britse radio
Hoewel de horecaorganisaties deze week fel reageerden op de aankondiging van de Britse regering dat deze per 2008 een rookverbod willen invoeren in de pubs zijn er nog meer partijen die van zich laten spreken. Naast de rokersorganisatie FOREST en Joe Jackson is de Libertarische Alliantie erg gekant tegen wat zij noemen ‘gezondheidsfascisme’. In diverse radiouitzendingen stellen zij zich tegen deze vorm van overheidsinterventie te weer.
