Bingo New York ook dupe van rookverbod
Sinds juli, toen het rookverbod in de staat New York actief werd, hebben bingoverenigingen tienduizenden dollars minder kunnen inzamelen voor liefdadigheid.
Op dit moment halen ze 50% minder winst binnen dan vorig jaar. Kwamen bij een bepaalde bingoorganisatie vorig jaar nog 143 mensen opdagen, dit jaar is dat teruggelopen tot 79, zo wordt gemeld in dit bericht uit Rochester.
Rookverboden treffen tóch al de zwaksten in de samenleving (daar wordt het meest gerookt), maar ze worden dus blijkbaar via allerhande omwegen dubbel hard gepakt…
